  • When will Splunk solutions be available through Arrow?

    +

North American Splunk partners (excluding public sector) are scheduled to be transitioned to Arrow by end of June, 2015. This will be a phased transition, and all partners will be notified in May when it is their time to complete the process – which will occur between May 4 and the end of June.

  • Already Splunk/Arrow partner, how do I start transacting Splunk business?

    +

A1: First, if you are an existing Arrow partner and have a current approved reseller agreement with Splunk, there is nothing additional you need to do. However, we are transitioning Splunk partners into Arrow operations on a phased basis, and we will notify you when it is your time to be transitioned. After that occurs, you will submit your deal registrations through the Splunk Partner Portal and work with your Arrow Splunk Inside Sales Rep for quote requests and orders going forward. If you are not sure who your representative is, contact Paul Romanelli at promanelli@arrow.com.

A2: Second, if you are an existing Arrow partner and do NOT have a current approved reseller agreement with Splunk, please visit http://arrowprograms.net/splunk for more information on how to become a candidate for the Splunk reseller program.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Arrow is currently authorized by Splunk for North American commercial business only (excludes Federal, State, and Local public sector). Public sector Splunk partners will stay with their existing distribution arrangement.

  • Already with Splunk, NOT with Arrow. How do I start transacting with Arrow?

    +

If you are NOT a partner with Arrow, but do have a current approved reseller agreement with Splunk, please visit http://arrowprograms.net/splunk for specific information on the process you should go through to become an Arrow partner. You should start the paperwork as soon as you can, but please note there will be a phased transition and all partners will be notified in May when it is their time to finalize the process. All Splunk partners are scheduled to be transitioned to Arrow by end of June, 2015.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Arrow is currently authorized by Splunk for commercial business only (excludes Federal, State, and Local public sector). Public sector Splunk partners will stay with their existing distribution arrangement.

  • Do I need any sales or technical certifications?

    +

The Splunk Partner Program has an entry level for new incoming partners called Authorized. It does not require initial certifications, but there is the expectation that every partner that signs up will intend to become at least a Premier partner in the Splunk program. The Premier level has specific revenue requirements, as well as sales, technical and architect certification expectations.
